Happy 2nd Birthday Ryker Joseph Rissman!!!!

For those of you that know our little "monkey" you know that he LOVES to jump!

So, for his 2nd birthday we decided to take him to a place where he could jump till his little heart was content (Monkey Joe's)! Monkey Joe's is a fun-filled play center full of inflatable houses, slides, jumps, and obstacle courses that is located in Rockford (they do have more locations in the Chicago land area). Ryker was a jumping machine from the second we walked in the door till it was time to leave (not that we would have expected anything different). Please enjoy the photos below!

The slides were a little larger than I had imagined and I may have been a bit of a mother hen at the beginning but Ryker never seizes to amaze me and climbed right up them like a pro (the kid has no fear).

As you can see from the picture above it was a lot of work for him to get to the top and it required a ton of upper body strength but he kept right up with the big kids.
One of the bounce houses had this white slide that was super fast (one of his favorites). By the end of the night he was going down on his belly and head first (he had so much fun!).

As you can see from the picture above, I may have had some fun 2!

Adults were allowed in the bounces houses and could go down the slides as long as we were assisting and not jumping (both Kris and I took advantage of this).

So thirsty after all that hard work!

After our afternoon of fun and jumping at Monkey Joe's we headed to one of your favorite restaurants in Rockford (Lino's). If you haven't been to Lino's before and love Italian food I highly recommend it!

Ryker devoured his cupcake and we couldn't leave until he had every last bite of his chocolate ice cream (Like I said before, he LOVES his sweets!).

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!

The simplest act of watching you grow and learn has filled us with so much pleasure and pride. You are the sweetest most kind hearted little boy and your dada and I thank god every day for bringing you into our lives. We have falling in love with the little boy that you have become and your character brings a smile to our face everyday. You have given us a new meaning of happiness and have taught us to love in a way that we didn't even know was possible!!
