Above is a picture of Kris, Ryker and me from the Sycamore 2011 Tree Lighting. We headed downtown Sycamore on December 2nd for their annual tree lighting ceremony (this is also when Santa arrives) which is held on the courthouse lawn. This is such a great event, and it definitely gets you into the Christmas spirit. This year was really exciting for Ryker because he understands Santa so much more than last year and was anxiously awaiting his BIG arrival.

Santa arrived via fire truck this year in front of the Sycamore Children's Museum and brought along Mrs. Clause and one of his helpers. Once Santa arrived everyone marched down State Street to the courthouse where Santa and Mrs. Clause did a countdown for the tree lighting.
