This Rissman clan was cabin bound for Memorial Day weekend!
That's right, we headed north to our favorite guilty pleasure, where nothing else in the world mattered for 3 full days (sounds wonderful...right?!).
Our weekend was full of excitement and not a moments rest (wouldn't expect anything less with 2 toddlers running around), please enjoy the pictures below from our 3 days of fun in the sun.
Ryker's been telling me lately, "Landon, misses me mama!". These 2 cuties are the best of friends and literally did not leave each others sides the entire weekend.
Love this picture!
Ryker enjoying his daddy time:)
Time to catch some fish!
Fishing at Grams and Papa's cabin is much different than fishing by our house :)
The fish at the cabin are much more eager to bite and it literally takes less than a minute to catch one. Above is a picture of 1 of the many fish that Kris and Ryker baited on Saturday morning.
Grams still had some sparklers left over from last years 4th of July, and one can only imagine what a huge hit this was among the boys.
The 2 trucks pictured above got a lot of miles put on them over the weekend. Ryker and Landon pushed them up and down this hill for hours and when they needed a break from the hill, they took them for a drive around the house (it's the simplest things that kept them occupied).
Ryker heading up the hill (I was exhausted just watching them :)).
Dirt bike time (like I said, never a dull moment at the cabin).
Tractor ride with Papa!

All ready for the beach!
Can they get any cuter?!
Much of our day on Saturday was spent on the boat, and at the beach.
The sun was out and the weather was extremely hot, so we spent the day doing whatever would keep us cool.
We were lucky enough to have 2 captains!
Stinkers.....!
Kris and the boys :)
Thank goodness the sun was out and the air was warm because the water was FREEZING!
However, that did not stop the boys from playing in it!
Daring to make it in waste deep together ;)
2 boys + water + toys = fun in the sun!

All ready to swim out to the swim platform with daddy!

Ryker had his eyes on that swim platform from the second we got to the beach (all he had on his mind was jumping). I knew it wouldn't be long before he would have Kris convinced to take him out there.
Poor Kris was such a good sport and faced the FREEZING water with a huge smile on his face (anything to make our peanut happy).
Having some fun on the way out there!
First big JuMp off the platform!
Uncle Jay swimming out to enjoy the fun!
Heading back in to warm the peanut up (poor babes lips were blue!).
They had quite the system.......Kris and Ryker would load and Landon would dump!
Doesn't get much better than this!
Tube ride time!
The faster Jay and Kris would spin them the louder the giggling got (Jay and Landon to the left and Kris and Ryker to the right).
Our little fishy all tuckered out!
Love this picture of his little butt;)
Ryker loved waving and shouting "HI!" as we passed the other boats.
This is Maggie jumping or should I say launching off the end of the dock for a ball! For those of you who know Maggie, this is nothing new for her, the dog LOVES the water!!!!
Our sweet, yet extremely CRAZY dog!
Kris and I challange the thought all the time of who is actually more work for us, Ryker or Maggie:)
Just floating around with daddy!
We really couldn't keep Ryker out of the water, not that this should have came as a surprise to us..........the kid is a fish!
There is nothing better than being on a beach with an ice cream cone in hand (such a lucky little boy!).
YuMmY!
Ryker 1st request when we got back to the beach.........?
That daddy and Jay take him back out to the platform!
And..........somehow the peanut even convinced me to take a swim out to the platform! Yes, if you look real closely above is a picture of Kris, Ryker and I!
Dance party time!
Ryker is a dancing machine these days and as you can see from the picture above it makes him very happy!
Showing off his "moves".
Looking for fish during our afternoon cruise.
Such a cute picture (they look as if they are up to no good!).
The Ryker we all know and LOVE!
Such a silly little monkey!
I had to post this one.........!
Best Friends!
This picture melts me heart!
And.............one last sparkler show before the weekend was over!
Hope you all had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!
