Kris, Ryker and I headed up to Madison with the Rissman/Farr clan to cheer on uncle Cody during his first row for the season. Their competition (well I don't even know if you would call if competition) was Michigan State and they killed them in every single race. The morning was a bit brisk but we bundled up and had a blast.
Auntie Tiff brought a rake and shovel to keep the boys busy in between races and it did the trick. Ryker and Landon's new found obsession right now is a rake and shovel kit from none other than the dollar store. Who knew this would be such a big hit, but I think every grandma along with Tiff and I own a set.
Above is a picture of uncle Cody's race........I know you can't really tell by this picture what boat was Wisconsin but they are the boat in the lead. Uncle Cody is rowing in San Francisco this weekend (how much fun to travel the world while doing a sport you enjoy!), so we wish uncle Cody the best of luck while racing in the head boat (did I say that right?)

Such a cute picture of my boys!
This is a picture of uncle Cody's boat coming in after the race, Cody is the one with the white visor on.
Bringing the boat in, this is so neat to watch them do! This was probably Ryker's favorite part about the day, he loved watching all the boys bring the boats in from the lake after each race.
There is uncle Cody in front with the white visor on! Yay, uncle Cody, great race!!!!!

Ryker and his uncle Cody! Ryker had on this adorable Wisconsin polo, and I desperately wanted to capture a picture of him and uncle Cody with it on, but it was too cold to bear his poor little arms, so next time I guess.

Cody gave us a tour of the boat house and above is a picture of Ryker in the room where they practice when they are unable to be on the lake (he looks like such a natural right!?). I asked Ryker if he wanted to be like his uncle Cody when he gets older and row for Wisconsin and he replied "yeah!", with the biggest smile on his face......too funny!
Ryker and his grandma Mary, cheering on all the boats!
Ryker and his best bud/cuz Landon!
They have this really neat historical site about a block away from the boat house, so Tiff and I thought we would walk the boys over there and see what type of photos we could capture. As you can see from the picture above my little monkey was way more interested in climbing than he was in being a perfect little model for his mama.
This is the only picture I got of the little stinker actually facing me.
Having fun with uncle J!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!
Above is a picture of the Wisconsin boat house.
Our plan was to stay in Madison after the races and take the boys to the Zoo, but the weather was so gloomy and cool that we decided to just grab lunch and come home. Sure enough the second we get home the sun comes out and it turns out to be a beautiful day.
Above is a picture of Ryker in his adorable Wisconsin polo helping dada do yard work.
Just going for a ride in the coupe :)
I love his serious look in this picture (he has such a personality now)!
