Me and the little monkey at his first egg hunt!
Ryker surprisingly was way more into the egg hunt than Kris and I had expected ( he must have my competitive blood in him). Once Ryker realized what he had to do, he got down to business running all over the baseball field to grab as many eggs as he could (of coarse I was right there cheering him!). Once the egg hunt was over, Ryker started signing and saying "please", "please", for more. Kris being the good dad that he is, thought quickly and re-hid the eggs that he had collected for him to hunt down again (Ryker was of coarse in heaven!).

Can you believe how big he looks in this picture?!!!
This is a picture of the field where all the eggs were for Ryker's age group. I know you can't tell by the picture but there was 1000 eggs and they were all scooped up within about 5 minutes.
Above is a picture of Ryker right before the egg hunt. As you can see he was more than ready to get those eggs :)
Counting his eggs with dada :)

Another age group started after Ryker's and once he caught eye of it, he started pointing to Kris saying "please da", to go over there.

Ryker proudly carrying around his basket of eggs!
Ok, maybe it was only 5 eggs that he got but still not bad for a first timer.
Kris had to hold his basket for him, because he was grabbing eggs with both of his hands (such a smarty, he knew 2 hands was gonna get him those eggs much faster than 1!)
After the egg hunt, Ryker got to enjoy some park time before we had to go home. The weather was so beautiful out, that we had to take advantage of it.
He loves anything he can climb up or crawl through :)
He's such a big boy now, and insists on going down the slides all by himself.
But as you can see from the picture below, I still prefer that he goes down them with some help (I know, I'm no fun).
