ChiCaGo

This past Saturday grandma and grandpa Urban, auntie Shar, uncle Josh, Kris, Ryker and I headed into the city to write Santa a letter at Macy's and do some skating on Michigan St. We thought this time would be as good as any to start some Christmas traditions and we all had a blast. Below are some pictures from our day.

Above is a picture of Kris, Ryker and I in front of Macy's. We walked around and looked at all the window displays that Macy's puts up for the holiday (for some reason I remember them being a lot better when I was little).

Ryker at Macy's admiring one of their beautiful Christmas tress :0

Ryk's and I writing Santa a letter. We made sure to tell Santa what a great little boy Ryker has been over the last year and left a list of things that Ryker would like for Christmas.

After Macy's we headed to Maggiano's where we all stuffed ourselves with Italian food. Above is a picture of Ryker enjoying some chocolate cake (yep i said cake), who new in 1 month his taste buds would change and he now likes cake (silly little boy)!

Then it was off to Millennium Park to burn off all those calories we all just ate and do some ice skating. This turned out to be a ton of fun and Ryker just loved watching everyone ice skate.

Auntie, uncle J, and Ryker waiting in line to ice skate.

Ryker obviously wasn't big enough to ice skate just yet, so we all rotated on and off the ice to hold him. It was killing him not to be on the ice with everyone else. All I heard the whole time I was holding him was "gooda gooda" as he pointed to the ice skating rink.

Ryker and dada :)

And........ me and my little monkey!

The boys (both had skated before) turned out to be really good on the ice, Sharon and I picked up on it pretty fast, and grandma and grandpa Urban surprised all of us and did pretty too. Grandpa Urban was the only one to take a spill and that happened within 15 second of her fist getting on the ice.

One final picture before we all packed up to go home. Grandma and Grandpa Urban took Ryker home for us while Kris and stayed back in the city and attended Andy and Erin's engagement party. What a great end to a wonderful day.
