Another month has flown by and in 1 month our little monkey is going to be 1 YEAR OLD!!!! The party planning has began and we have decided to celebrate his 1st birthday doing what Ryker loves best, FALL ACTIVITIES!!!! Over the last month Ryker has picked up on a ton of things. I feel like he is a little sponge and if I work hard enough with him on any one thing he will have it mastered in a matter of min/hours/days. He can now blow kisses, give high fives, put his arms up when we say "touchdown", his choice of getting around is running instead of walking, he has developed his own little language and his mouth is going 24/7! Words that we think he is saying all the time is "I do", "this", "daddy", and "mama". I feel like in the last month he has had a major growth spurt (this would maybe explain his recent sleep issues), he is now fitting in 6-12 month clothing and I have a strong feeling we will be seeing 12-18 in our near future. He recently got his foot measured and he is a size 5 (I felt horrible when I found this out seeing as how I was cramming his foot into a size 3). He weighs 19 pounds 4 ounces and is still a tad bit of a picky eater (depends on the day). Ryker's biggest struggle at this point is sleeping (he definitely has some Rissman blood in him!!!!!), he is still taking 2 naps a day but recently is waking up anywhere between 2 and 4 times a night (we are hoping it is either due to growing pains or his 1 year old molars). Speaking of molars, Ryker now has 6 teeth (4 top and 2 bottom) with 2 more bottom teeth about to break through at any time.
Ryker and I headed to the Elwood house in DeKalb to capture some fun 11 month old pictures.
