Thought I would give everyone an update on what's going on with our little man this week. His eyebrows and lids are now present, and his skin still looks pale and wrinkly, but no longer appears completely translucent, because some subcutaneous fat is being laid down. Any object that his little hands encounters is firmly grasped. It is thought that he can distinguish between my voice and Kris's and even be able to recognize them after birth. His heart rate has slowed considerably now and during the last week has average 140's-150's. His is opening and closing his mouth regularly and ingesting large quantities of the amniotic fluid. As for me I posted an updated picture of my growing belly at 21 weeks.
