FuN iN ThE SnOw

I think it's safe to say that Ryker and I enjoyed our last hurrah in the snow for the season.

Last Tuesday morning Ryker woke up early begging and pleading with me to take him outside so that he could go sledding in the snow. Even though it was only 7:00am (no, that is not a typo) in the morning I'm glad he was persistent and convinced me to gear us up to go outside and play. As you can see from the picture above the sun was out early on this beautiful morning and the snow was melting at a record rate. Ryker must have gone down the berm in our back yard a gazillion times, which in turn means that I carried him back up it just as many ;) However, it was worth every second of it seeing him smile and giggle all the way down. I LOVE that we have a mini snow hill on our backyard.........we are so lucky!

The morning was gorgeous and we ended up spending several hours outside (I couldn't even get him to go inside to eat breakfast)! Spring fever is definitely kicking in high gear here at the Rissman house, and I couldn't even fight him on it because I have to admit the sun felt so good!!!!
