86 DeGrEeS........iN MaRcH!?

Ryker and I decided to take advantage of the amazing weather in March and head to the Zoo for the day. We headed in early yesterday morning so that we could get there right when they opened (great idea by the way). All the animals where up and about, which made the trip that much more fun for the peanut. Ryker was a blast this year and we both had SO much fun :) I know I say this all the time, but what a difference a year makes!!!! He was so proud of himself for being able to name all the animals, and we had great conversations about each one (HE IS SO MUCH FUN RIGHT NOW!). We started and ended our day with a little ride on the carousel....pictured above.
We started our Zoo adventure in the Outback........
Pictured above.....C.A.M.E.L.S
Look at that adorable little JOEY :)
What has black and white stripes.....? A ZEBRA!
What can grow up to 20 feet tall and has a really long neck........? A giraffe!
Ryker and I got to witness these 2 giraffes giving each other some major loving........! They where very kissy, kissy (Ryker loved this, and kept saying: "Mommy, they kiss like this! (he would then grab my face a lay a big wet one on me!)).
Such a big boy!
Polar Bear time!
Anxiously awaiting the Polar Bear to make his big plunge into the water!
A sleepy Brown Bear.
Ryker told me: "Mommy, this bear is sleeping in!"

Just having some bear fun!
The most stinkiest exhibit just happened to be one of Ryker's favorites (go figure!). We spent a lot of time watching these cute little Penguins swim around.
Look at the cute little Grizzly Bear!
Looks like these guys have been Monkeying around :)
This was by far Ryker's favorite exhibit! He spent a lot of time chatting with the Monkey's, singing them the ABCs and even counted to 20 for them (he must have loved the audience :)!)
Me and my little mONkee!

There was a lot of loving going on at the Zoo yesterday :)
Not the greatest picture, but I had to grab a photo of the flowers in full bloom in the middle of March!
We stopped in at the Hamill Family Play Zoo!
Above is a picture of Ryker petting a Guinea Pig!
Of coarse we had to stop and give the goats a good back rubbing at the Children's Zoo!
And.........we finished the day hanging out the the Lions and Tigers........as Ryker would say: "Roar!".
