The first snow fall of 2012 came late this year and normally I would have been excited about this. However, now that I have a 2 year old that has been asking for snow since Christmas......I have to admit I was kind of bummed. Thank god we took full advantage of it while it was here, because since the first snow fall we really haven't had another snow falling that we could play in.
Above is a picture of Ryker helping me and Kris shovel the driveway.
He was in heaven pretending that his shovel was a digger and made lots of digging sounds as he helped us "dig" out the driveway ;)
We were literally outside for most of the afternoon playing in the snow and only going in for "Coffee" breaks (Ryker calls his hot chocolate, coffee).
Had to make sure we cleaned up the sidewalk 2!
Once we got our driveway and sidewalk done, Ryker still hadn't got his fix of digging in, so we headed over to our neighbor's house and did their driveway and sidewalk 2.
Such a big helper!
Every time Kris and I attempted to get him inside to warm up he would say, "No, I dig!" (such a boy!).
Who knew digging in the snow could be this much fun ;)
Here's to hoping we get hit with a least one more snow storm before Winter is over and Spring arrives. I can guarantee those words would not be coming out of my mouth if it wasn't for the smile it puts on my little monkey's face!
