Our Family: St. PaTtY'S CeLeBrAtiOn

Kris and I headed into the city last Saturday for some Irish festives and had a blast! Chicago was full of Irish pride, and there was entertainment everywhere. Our first stop..........the river. Kris and I thought it would be fun for Ryker to see them dye the river green, but we got there a tad late and missed them dying it. On an up note, we still got some great pictures in front of it.

Auntie Shar and uncle josh joined us for the day :) We met at their house in Oak Park and took just a short train ride into the City (very baby friendly and easy)!

Ryker showing off his Irish pride while waving "hi" to one of the boats on the River :) Ryker was more fascinated with the boats on the river than he was that the river was green (total boy), and yelled out 'hi, hi, hi", as they passed by us.

Next........lunch at Potbelly's! We stopped real fast for a warm sandwich before we took on the city and the crowd that awaited us.

Then we were off to........Millennium Park! Auntie Shar and I thought it would be fun to take Ryker up to the bean and get some pictures. Above is a picture of Ryker being goofy in front of Millennium Park.
