Ryker and I headed to a lake in Sycamore with my girlfriend Kristin and her daughter Layla (Ryker's girlfriend) this past Wednesday. This very hidden yet very neat lake has a great beach for the kiddo's to play at, and the lake is filled with blue gills which both Layla and Ryker loved (Kristin and I however where a little creeped out by how many there was and how close they would get!). Kristin and I packed up a little lunch for us and the kiddo's and we spent the afternoon soaking up some rays while Layla and Ryker played in the sand. Ryker and Layla were so much fun to watch and played very well together. The 2 of them kept Kristin and I very busy yet very entertained. As you can see from the picture above Ryker spent most of his afternoon covered in sand from head 2 toe!
Ryker loved playing in this bucket of water. Layla kept filling it up for him and he kept scooping the water out with this little cup. 
This kept him very entertained for quite a while. 
Such a stinker. Thank you Layla and Kristin for a great afternoon.
