Ryker, Grandma Urban and I headed to St.Charles today for the Kane County Fair. It turned out to be so much fun despite the 100 degree weather (I was a little nervous seeing as how I don't do real well in hot hot weather), but I sucked it up and well had a great time. I
absolutely loved watching
Ryker's expressions with all the animals. He was very nervous at first but by the time we made it to the goat barn he had warmed up to all the animals and really
enjoyed himself. Above is a picture of one of the goat's giving
Ryker's piggy's a little lick (
Ryker thought this was very funny!).
This one little goat just loved
Ryker (or he may have thought we had something for him to eat) and
Ryker just
squealed and
squealed at it as if he had a lot to tell him.

Ryker and I with one of the sheep that was freshly groomed and ready for show.
Ryker wasn't so sure about the sheep though, I think it was
because they were very vocal while we were in their barn (I think it was close to feeding time). However, he did love the horses and we even got to enjoy some
barrel racing while we were there that was very impressive. I think next year he will
definitely be ready for the pony rides :)
