4th oF JuLy

Kris, Ryker and I headed up north to the Cabin for the 4th of July weekend with a bunch of our family and friends. I have put together a colleague of pictures that pretty much sums of the fun we had over this holiday weekend. There was tons of good food, good company and good weather. I think I can speak for us all that we were very sad to see it come to an end. Above is a picture of Ryker getting ready for a swim.

Ryker sporting his goggles (such a goofy boy).

The boys (Mason and Ryker) sitting down for some grub!

This picture goes along with HUGE story so I will try to sum it up quickly. Kris lost a lot to the lake this weekend including a WEDDING RING, a pair of sunglasses and a charm that Ryker got him for Father's Day. The boys spent most of the weekend coming up with creative ways to reclaim these valuable pieces and lucky for Kris he was able to reclaim 1 of the 3. Thanks to Justin and the boys his sunglasses were found on the bottom of the lake!

Little Miss Layla and her adorable 4th of July outfit!
Ryker enjoying a cocktail under his umbrella that Grandma Rissman got the boys for the cabin.

Such a big boy!

I thought this picture was so cute! Mason, Landon and Ryker the 3 Musketeer's :)
All the kids played so well together all weekend long it was very sweet to sit back and watch them. We are all very lucky to have such amazing little boys and girls!

This is a picture of the group anxiously awaiting for the fireworks to start.

Ryker didn't quite make it, but don't you worry once the fireworks started he was wide eyed and able to enjoy the fireworks for his first 4th of July celebration. He did pretty well considering he was awoken out of a dead sleep to the first firework being set off. Once he realized that what was going on he snuggled right in to enjoy the show.

Our little family!

Ryker napping with Grandma Urban on Grandma and Grandpa Urban's boat.

Layla driving "Layla's boat" with papa Rissman!

On Sunday we were able to enjoy some beach time. Above is a picture of Kristin and Layla, Kayte and Mason, and Ryker and I building a sand castle.
It was Ryker's and Mason's first time in the sand so it was very cute to watch their expressions, but they didn't waste anytime getting down and dirty in the sand. Layla was my big helper while we built the sand castle, she made sure the sand was nice and wet for me so that we could pack the sand just right to make the towers to the sand castle.

Kris and Brody with their boys (such good daddy's)!

Ryker in front of his first sand castle (next time I think we may need dad's help)!

And..............Some keepsakes.

Happy 4th of July everyone! We hope you all got to enjoy a wonderful weekend like us :)
