SoLd

I can hardly believe I am blogging about this, yet alone wrap my head around the idea, but after 6 AMAZING years at 207 Quinlan, we sold our 1st house on August 26, 2012.
This has been extremely bittersweet for us as we LOVED our house and the location, however, we had started to outgrow it and really wanted to settle in the town of Sycamore before Ryker would start school.  With that in mind Kris decided to put a for sale by owner sign in our front yard, and who knew that 3 months later the first people to walk through it would fall in love with it and purchase it 2 months later.  This house holds so much meaning to us, and will never be forgetting.  This house is what we called home, and was a symbol of where we started our sweet relationship and where memories were built.  This was the house that Kris built for us, the first and only house we have lived in together, where we brought our first baby home and where we became a family.  It hold the memories to all of Ryker's firsts, and where we have watched our sweet little boy grow.  I can only hope that this house will offer a portion of everything it offered us to the new buyers.
So where do we go from here............?!
Yes, we are going to build again!  We have purchased a lot in Krpan Parkside in Sycamore Illinois.  It offers everything that Rivermist did and more.  Kris and I were very picky about our lot location, as we do not plan to do this again, and this next house will be where we raise our family.  It backs up to 2 ponds, a bike trail and corn fields (you know we are from DeKalb, when this was a must for us;).  The view is amazing and the school that Ryker will attend is within walking distance.  We plan to break ground in early Spring and until then will be living in a condo in Sycamore.
One last quick photo of Ryker and his crazy but very loved Uncle Larry (thank god we had him there because we all needed a little smile lift).
I promise to keep you all updated as our new house building journey begins.
