ZoO

Ryker and I decided to visit the Zoo one more time for the year before the weather turns cold.  He had been asking me for weeks for a visit to the Zoo, so we waited for the perfect fall day and headed East for a fun filled day with the animals.   We always attempt to get their early because Ryker loves to see them feed the animals and I feel that this makes for better chances of everything being out and about.  As you can see from the picture above we got a great view of the Zebra.  

Ryker always finds the giraffes very interesting and I usually have to pry him away from them to see the rest of the animals.  

Next up on our tour............Ryker 2 favorite exhibits, the BEARS and MONKEYS.

Ryker and I have decided that it doesn't matter what time we make our way to the bears, they are just plain lazy.  They are always fast asleep or laying down, but for some reason this is still one of his favorite stops.  Ryker's rational for this...........they party all night and sleep during the day (could be!).

It was such a great day to stop at the children's petting Zoo!  Another great perk about traveling to the Zoo on a weekday, Ryker had the goats all to himself and they were all circling him for a good back rub;)

And........a final stop on our way out at the carousal.  It's not a trip to the Zoo without a ride or 2 on the carousal :)
