Last weekend we headed out to Kuipers Family Farm for some apple/pumpkin picking. Kris and I had no idea that this would end up being a full day event (there is just so much to do). We actually did the apple side in the morning, went home to let Ryker nap and then headed back to the pumpkin side for the afternoon. We made sure to get there right when they opened so we could have some fresh homemade donuts and warm apple cider for breakfast. After breakfast we did some apple tasting, and our favorite apple should come as no surprise seeing as how this seems to be the favorite for many! If you guessed honey crisp than you guessed right, this Rissman clan LOVED the honey crisp apples (yes, we left with 2 pecks at $25 a piece). Please enjoy the pictures below from our fun filled day at the apple/pumpkin farm.
Ryker bright and early in front of the Kuiper Family Farm sign patiently waiting for them to open so he can have some fresh warm donuts.
They had these toy leather horses for the kids to ride on and they seemed to be a big hit.
FINALLY............a pony ride!
He looks like such a big boy in this picture! Ryker was in pony heaven during this pony ride and quickly asked for another ride when his turn was over!
Ryker and his dada on the pumpkin train :)
I think this picture is so cute!
The picture above was taken while Kris and Ryker were playing a little game of peak boo in the corn maze!
And........of coarse he had to drive the tractors:)
Can you believe I actually captured this on camera?! I LOVE this picture!
Ryker at the self pick pumpkin patch! Not only did you get to pick your own pumpkin here but you got a hay ride to the patch.

Being so silly with dada!

After much contemplation we finally found the perfect pumpkin for Ryker!
Kris and I didn't think to do the self pick at the end of the day so we wouldn't have to carry this pumpkin around with us everywhere, but they think of everything at this farm and there was wagon's waiting for us when we returned back from the patch.
Ryker really liked the rabbit farm and I was able to capture a cute little picture of 3 different bunnies all cuddled into one little house.
We couldn't leave until we got a chance to feed the goats, and once again this was something Kris and I didn't think through very clearly. Bless this poor goat that is pictured above for still being hungry enough to take food out of Ryker's hand when the rest of them were so full from the day they wouldn't even get up.

And.....giving the goats a little rub at the end of the day :)
The Kuiper Family definitely knows how to do it right, thanks for a great day!
