This Rissman clan finally got the opportunity to head north and enjoy some much needed and overdue time at the cabin. 2 full days of sun+lake+beach = one happy little monkey! Having a toddler makes a huge difference in how we spend our days at the cabin. Lots of truck/tractor play in grandpa and grandma Rissman's driveway (as pictured above), golf cart rides with crazy drivers, deer watching (Ryker now says "deer"), beach time and boat rides (lets just say we are very busy). Ryker couldn't be anymore in his element up north and I love that we have the opportunity to share all of this with him. Please enjoy the picture's below!

Maggie just going for a dip all on her own!! Maggie is oddly independent up at the cabin, she takes it upon herself to stroll down to the lake take a swim and then comes back up to the cabin all wet, and just looks at us like it's no big deal. I have learned now that I have a child that this middle aged dog that acts like a young pup is just silly (there is no other words that can describe her), but we love her tons anyway.

This year was no different than later year in that Ryker is still obsessed with driving the boat, it's just much more scary now that he has figured out how to operate everything!

Kris and I took Ryker on his first tube ride and he loved it! We pretty much just floated behind the boat but he thought he was such a big boy and we thought it was cute!
Day 2 at the beach :) Ryker is such a boy and pretty much has a tractor/truck in his hands at all times. If you ask him what he is doing with the tractor he says "dada do", and of coarse he is right. Ryker adores that his dada gets to ride in tractor for work everyday.

Above is a picture of Ryker keeping an eye on Kris while he was out on the swim dock. Ryker wasn't crazy about his dada being so far out there and kept calling for him to come back in. He didn't take his eyes off Kris until he reached the beach again (too funny)!
