ChRiStmAs EvE

Kris, Ryks, and I spent this Christmas Eve at grandpa and grandma Urban's house. The evening was filled with a ton of fun and LOTS of surprises:) It started out with grandpa Urban giving grandma Urban surprise #1 (a German Shepard puppy). Next on the agenda was an amazing dinner hosted by grandma Urban, followed by my favorite part of the night, gift opening! This is where surprise #2 comes into play. While Ryker was opening all of his gifts from everyone, grandpa Urban came into the room with yet another puppy, however this ones was for Ryker!!! Ryker instantly fell in love with the puppy, I on the other hand was having a mini stroke:) The thought of me juggling a new puppy with my little peanut had my stomach in a knot and after much contemplation, Ryker's puppy (Dupree) will be Ryker's puppy at grandma and grandpa Urban house. With that being said the night was very full of lots of energy and the 2 adorable little puppies kept us all very entertained. I'm so upset that I don't have many pictures to share from the night (I think my mind may have been other places), but I hope to steal some from everyone else and will post them later. Ryker did awesome with his first experience of present opening. He started off really strong, but as expected lost interest pretty fast (I have a feeling next year will be a different story). Above is a picture of Ryker all dressed up in his Christmas Eve outfit that auntie Shar put him in. He looked so grown up in it, yet so stinkin adorable.

Ryker scored a ton of great gifts from grandma and grandpa Urban, auntie Sharon N uncle Josh, and aunt Bonnie and uncle Larry. To list just a few: Radio Flyer wagon, bike carrier, kitchen set, water table, and a TON of clothes! Kris and I are very exited to have warm weather again to put some of them in action.
